Viewing Muscle Actions

Choose a Muscle Action View by first tapping on the Muscle Actions or the Muscle Attachments and Actions option on the Home screen, then choosing a region, and then tapping on a thumbnail with a Play icon in the corner. An interactive animation is launched and is shown playing, demonstrating the action, on a continuous loop. The model can be adjusted with your fingertips to a different size or angle while playing or while paused (see "Adjusting Views" in the help section.) The button at the top of the screen labeled Rotate View provides different perspectives of the muscle action, showing some of the muscles involved in the actions faded so that deeper muscles can be better viewed.

The action can be paused by tapping on the Pause button at the bottom of the screen and restarted by tapping on the Play button. The looping functionality can be stopped by tapping on the Loop button to turn the icon black; tapping the icon again turns it to gold and restarts the looping action.

The Info icon at the bottom of the screen provides a complete list of the muscles involved in the action. On-screen muscles and bones can be identified by tapping on the structure and reading the name shown at the top of the screen. By tapping on the speaker icon to the right of the name, you can hear the pronunciation. Tap the Definition icon to view the muscle's definition.

The Menu icon at the bottom of the screen brings you back to the menu of all muscle actions, while the Home icon allows you to choose a different section in the app, such as Muscle Attachments.
