(Please note this feature is available for all Web Player users and for WebGL users on Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. Muscle Actions are not available for WebGL Internet Explorer 11 users.)
Choose an Action View by first clicking the "Actions" option on the Home screen, then choosing a region, and then selecting a thumbnail. An interactive animation is launched, demonstrating the action on a continuous loop. The model can be adjusted with scroll wheel or the + and - buttons to be viewed at a different size or angle while playing or while paused (see "Adjusting Views" section.) The buttons at the left of the screen provide different perspectives of the muscle action, showing some of the muscles involved in the actions faded so that deeper muscles can be better viewed. The first button is the default View that is first launched.
Above the View buttons are "Define," which defines a highlighted muscle, and "Action Info," which provides the names of the muscles involved in the action. On-screen muscles and bones can be identified by selecting the structure. By selecting it, you will have highlighted it, and the structure name is shown at the top of the screen.
By clicking the Audio icon to the right of the name, you can hear the pronunciation. Click the Definition icon to view the muscle's definition.
The action can be paused by clicking the "Pause" button at the bottom of the screen and restarted by clicking the "Play" button. The looping functionality can be stopped by clicking the "Loop" button to turn the icon black; selecting the icon again turns it to gray and reverts back to the looping function.
