This article is for instructors getting started with Courseware who want to get a head start and avoid some common problems. If you are using Courseware through Canvas or Blackboard integration you can skip right to step 2!
1. Send your Courseware invite link to your students
If your school has a site license:
When students use the invite link, they'll be sent through your school's proxy to the sign-up page to create their account. After their initial sign-in, they can log into Courseware by just going to https://courseware.visiblebody.com, no need to keep using the link.
If your school is using Canvas or Blackboard integrated Courseware courses:
When students log into your LMS integrated Courseware course, they can select the Visible Body Courseware launcher from the left-hand menu. In the Courseware window, students will be prompted to either sign-up or sign-in. If your school currently has a group subscription students won't be prompted to purchase or use a code, they will be brought right to your course.
If your student is purchasing Courseware or using a school-provided code:
When students use the invite link, they'll be sent to the sign-up page to create their account. There they will either make a purchase or enter their code. Find out more about getting Visible Body Courseware in your book store here.

2. Bookmark the Courseware homepage
Make a bookmark of https://courseware.visiblebody.com to quickly get back to your course.
3. If you're feeling stuck, try the Help Center
In the upper right corner of the Courseware screen, you can find the help icon with a link to the Courseware Help Center.
4. Check out tools for self-training
You can find lots of helpful information about using courseware on the Visible Body Help Center, on our Youtube Channel, and on the Visible Body Blog! We offer walkthroughs, assignment and quiz ideas, and interesting topics for course material all for free.
5. Download the mobile apps
Mobile versions of the web apps are available for free with Courseware. Just download them from the My Apps page while you're in an area with wifi access, and then you can take them anywhere!
6. What's the difference between a practice quiz and a graded quiz?
Courseware serves up content from the Visible Body web apps, but only quizzes from the Graded Quiz Bank are recorded in the Gradebook. Any practice quizzes assigned from Anatomy & Physiology, Visible Body Suite, or Muscle Premium will not be recorded in the Gradebook, and should be treated as self-testing assignments.
7. Assignment notifications and student awareness
Whenever you publish a new assignment or create a new announcement, your students will be notified with a red dot next to both the category and the content. Additionally, you can opt to send an email notification to your students. This can be done on an assignment by assignment basis, so you can choose to only email students when you make an important chapter quiz available, or with every new chapter assignment.
