This article is for subscribers to Human Anatomy Atlas 2021 who are interested in the features that help locate specific content for a topic and related content that might be of interest. The article covers how to search and how to navigate among recently viewed content.
Menu Bar
Use the menu bar along the top of the main screen to browse Human Anatomy Atlas by preset 3D model views, animations, quizzes, lab content, and 3D models you have created, annotated, organized into a presentation, or favorited:
Views All the interactive 3D models available in the app organized into preset views that match common content presented in courses (regional anatomy, system-based anatomy, and anatomy lab), cross-sections paired with cadaver slices and diagnostic scans, microanatomy models of organs, and common muscle actions
Media All the animations offered in the app and presenting normal physiology and common conditions
Quizzes Over100 3D dissection quizzes to test your anatomy knowledge and links to lab activities along with the views these use
My Library 3D models you have created, annotated, organized into a presentation, or favorited from the Views section. Learn more about how user accounts can give you access to your favorited content across platforms here.
Content Search
To find premade content use the Content Search on the bottom bar. Enter a search term, and select a result. These are organized by content type: specific structures, Views, and Quizzes.
Browse
Use these three features when in a 3D view and interested in browsing through related content.
Undo, Redo, and Refresh If you have edited a 3D view use the Undo, Redo, and Refresh buttons to review or undo edits.
Related Content If you are in a View and want to learn more about a structure on screen, select it and open the Related Content option to see additional assets available. Scrolling through the icons in the Related Content option provides access to other Views and animations.
Forward and Back When you're ready to go back, use the Forward and Back options to navigate between views you've visited.
Anatomy Search
When in a 3D view use the Anatomy Search option to locate structures in the view or add structures to the view. Type the name of the structure and select Show Me to zoom into a structure in the view. Select Add + to add the structure to the view.
