Visible Body Help: Due date extensions and extra attempts for New Assignments

You can now give due date extensions and additional attempts to individual students in New Assignments, and manually change the grades for each activity.

Just follow these steps (or see this help article for more information):

1. Open the Gradebook for your course
2. Find the student, and then the assignment that you want to update
3. Select the grade
4. In the popup, select the edit button
5. Update the due date for the assignment, and the attempts and grades for each activity
6. Press save to save your changes

Anything that you modified will now be marked with an asterisk so that you know which assignment settings have been updated for which students.

Integrating with an LMS like Canvas, Blackboard, or D2L?

• Due dates: Extend due dates in both your LMS and in Courseware to ensure a smooth experience for your students.
• Attempts: Give additional attempts in Courseware
• Grade changes: If you want to update grades in the Courseware gradebook, you can, but if you’re using your LMS gradebook for final grades, we recommend manually changing any grades there.
