Product Scoop: Allow Review setting for New Assignments

New Assignments are now available after the due date passes for access, review, and practice! This is on by default, but can be turned off by turning off the new "Allow Review" setting.

When Allow Review is on, students can access their New Assignments after the due date. They can review all of the models, text, videos, and quizzes while in “Review Mode”. They can also see their quiz results, including any correct answers (according to the rules set for that quiz), and take the quizzes again for additional practice.

Grades, time on task, and other information about the students activity will not report to the gradebook at all when students are reviewing after the due date.

If you don’t want your assignments available for review and practice after the due date, you can:

1. Go to the Assignments page for your course
2. Find the assignment you want to change, and click on the 3-dot menu
3. Choose “Edit Assignment”
4. Find the “Allow review” setting on the right side, and toggle it off
