Community Guidelines
Pinned FeaturedWe’re so excited to read all you have to say!
To make sure this community is a safe and welcoming space for everyone, we have 5 basic guidelines:
1. Be respectful, and keep it PG.
Healthy debates can lead to great discoveries, but content that is offensive, vulgar, threatening, or discriminatory on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, or disability isn't. (This includes personal attacks, cyberbullying, trolling, and harassment.) Such content and users who post it will be removed.
2. Stay on topic.
If you want to talk a topic that’s not related to the discussion you’re in, please find the appropriate forum or start a new thread.
Topics must be related to teaching and learning A&P. Political or religious discussions are not allowed.
3. Don’t spam.
This includes flooding, cross-posting across threads, chain messages, money-making schemes, and links to pornography or malware/phishing sites.
4. Play it safe.
Don’t share any identifiable information about yourself or others, including references to individual schools, colleges or agencies - or their staff - whether by name, common pseudonym, or any other means.
5. Use one account and be real.
Each user should only have one account. False identities (Sockpuppets) created to game the community won't foster the kind of helpful, candid dialogue we are looking to sponsor. So we'll remove them. If you’re trying to change profile information or want to discontinue the use of an account and create another one, please contact us.
6. Follow the honor code.
There will be resources provided by us and by other members. Do not post content that is not yours to share (infringes on someone else’s copyright). Everything we post can be used in a teaching environment. If you see something you’d like to use that a community member posted, reach out to them and let them know!
To students: If you’re using content from the VB community or apps in a way you wouldn’t admit to your teacher, don’t do it! Don’t plagiarize content, use the site during a test, or post answers to a test you took.
