September 3, 2024 (Product 5.1.18)
VB Suite's latest update offers an exciting look at fetal development with three all-new interactive 3D models!
- The embryo model shows the chorion, yolk sac, and the beginnings of the nervous, digestive, and circulatory systems.
- The fetus model includes internal organs, as well as the amniotic sac and placenta within the uterus.
- The fetal circulation model shows how the circulatory system of the fetus connects to the placenta and how various ducts help oxygenated blood bypass the developing lungs and liver.
The female reproductive system has been greatly enhanced and now includes:
- A new microanatomy 3D model depicting the uterus, vagina, uterine tubes, ovaries, and uterine ligaments.
- A new microanatomy 3D model of endometriosis to show how it can affect reproductive anatomy with different levels of severity.
- A new illustration covering anatomical variations of the position of the uterus.
And, as always, we've made bug fixes, enhancements, and minor improvements.

Our latest update comes with some new anatomy content and accessibility features! Here's what's new:
- Anatomy: We have four brand new endocrine system animations that explain how hormones alter cell activity, cortisol and its relationship to Addison's Disease and Cushing Syndrome, and more.
- Accessibility: VB Suite now supports popular screen readers VoiceOver and TalkBack! If you're using the web version of VB Suite, you can navigate the program via the keyboard.

Our latest updates to Tours and Flashcards make it even easier to create, share, and use custom content in VB Suite!
- You can now edit and reorganize your existing Tours
- You can preview and launch individual Flashcards from within a deck using the new "Preview Deck as List" feature
- You can add keywords and use the new search bar in the My Library and Study tabs to sort through your saved content

Institutions with Site License subscriptions can now offer students and faculty the option to access VB Suite on computers without first creating an account or signing in.
The VB Suite with No Log-in Site License Bundle offers:
- All content in the database over the web without signing in
- The option to use the sign in version if customers want to use the mobile app, create favorited library content, or use Flashcards and Tours

Summer minor and mighty improvements!
The VB Team spent the first part of the summer making VB Suite even easier to navigate and use. These improvements will make your everyday use smoother and faster.
The web app loads thousands of 3D models that you can rotate, zoom into, and explore.
- Selecting a model is now faster and more responsive.

Scrolling the menu with a magic mouse or trackpad is now more controlled. We also added a new scroll speed setting so you can slow it down or speed it up. Check it out here:
Since we released them last summer, our 3D Flashcards have been used and viewed over a million times.
- Based on feedback from customers, we’ve improved the creation, saving, and deleting of cards and decks.
- We also added a mobile keyboard to make it easier to sign in and share Flashcards.
And, as always, lots of other small bug fixes and improvements.

Visible Body Web Suite Subscription can now be purchased for a single Classroom or Lab. A Classroom/Lab subscription allows a user to display Web Suite in-app content in a classroom or lab setting on one shared device (dissection table, SMART board, multitouch device, etc.).
- Visit the Web Suite page and select “Get Started”.
- Select “Subscribe” next to the Web Suite - Classroom/Lab subscription when purchasing.
Manage your access to Web Suite by selecting “Subscription Management” in the dropdown menu on your My Apps page, read this article for more information.

Gain access to Web Suite with your Google account. In addition to creating a Visible Body specific account with an email and password, you can now select “Sign in with Google”.
- Start by selecting “Sign in with Google” when creating your account.
- Use “Sign in with Google” every time you sign into Web Suite.
